This delicate bone china mug shows some of Britain's beautiful common butterflies including the Holly Blue, the Small Tortoiseshell, the Small White, the Common Blue, the Small Copper, the Speckled Wood and the Gatekeeper.

The watercolour illustrations form a pattern of butterflies that wrap around the mug. The illustrations are taken from a series of artworks by Rachel Corney highlighting some of Britain's most distinctive and widespread Lepidoptera. The names of the butterflies feature alongside the illustrations for ease of identification.

Butterflies are wonderful pollinators and provide delight in gardens and open countryside all over Britain from early Spring to the end of Autumn.
