Bumblebee Pattern Bone China Mug
Bumblebee Pattern Bone China Mug
These beautiful, delicate bone china mugs have been inspired by the 'Types of Bee' poster design. The pattern of White-tailed bumblebees and Early bumblebees wraps around the mug.
This mug features a repeating pattern of White-tailed Bumblebees and Early Bumblebees. These are two of the more common and distinctive species that you could spot in your own garden. White-tailed bumblebees are sometimes confused with the quite similar Buff-tailed bumblebee but Early bumblebee are easy to spot being relatively small for a bumblebee and having that eye catching gingery-orange tail. Bees and other pollinators are vastly important to our ecosystem and they are struggling to survive the challenging conditions they are now being faced with.
These mugs are lightweight and delicate whilst still being strong and durable. They are dishwasher and microwave safe and have a 390ml capacity. The designs are created and printed here in Cornwall. These mugs have been digitally printed for maximum vibrancy and colourfastness.
They make fantastic gifts for naturalists, gardeners, wildlife lovers and bee-keepers, or perhaps they could be a special treat for you. They are beautiful and practical and show your awareness and support of our hardworking pollinators. I love bees, I have planted a bee friendly garden and it is a real joy to see all the different types of bee working away. I also offer a Types of Bee mug, which has images of fourteen different species of bee along with their names.
