This 76mm circular pocket mirror features a detailed ink and watercolour illustration of a Comma butterfly on a bright yellow background. Each mirror comes in a cotton drawstring bag making it perfect to pop in your bag or pocket.

The original butterfly illustration was created with ink and watercolour for the Butterflies of Britain poster. The Comma butterfly has unique scalloped edged wings making its shape very recognisable. However with wings closed it has the perfect camouflage of a dead leaf. It is named after a distinctive comma-shaped white marking visible on the underwing. They are found widely across England and Wales but are less common in Scotland and Northern Ireland. They favour open woodland or wood edges but can be seen in gardens too. Common nettles are used as the main caterpillar food plant.

These mirrors are printed in brilliant full colour and are made of high quality glass and metal components. Each one is provided in a soft cotton drawstring bag to protect it, making it ideal as a gift or as a treat for yourself!
